Last November, the Prime Minister shared what is referred to as the “Ten Point Plan” policy, committing the UK to net zero emissions by 2050, and prompting energy operators to accelerate the energy transition through investments in low emission technologies, such as offshore wind, low carbon hydrogen and advanced nuclear. In this brief report, we highlight 4 strategies that we have seen operators use to navigate the uncertainties of business transformation to meet emissions and electrification requirements.
