Nick Gaubinger is responsible for creating and implementing the strategy that will let PowerAdvocate further its long-term growth objectives, including planning for market entry and competitive strategy.
Nick leads PowerAdvocate’s corporate development function, which focuses on acquisitions to accelerate the company’s progress through partnership with other Verisk companies and external strategic partners. He also oversees PowerAdvocate’s corporate marketing, which encompasses the company’s brand and positioning.
Nick opened PowerAdvocate’s first international office in Calgary, Alberta, in 2014 and played a lead role in the sale of PowerAdvocate to Verisk in 2017.
Before joining PowerAdvocate, Nick was a management consultant at the Monitor Group and worked in strategy and analytics at Digitas, LLC, a digital marketing agency. His first job was hoeing weeds at a cucumber farm in Hatfield, MA.
Nick holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from Colby College. He can be found, whenever possible, on a bike in the hills of western Massachusetts.
