Emily Edwards is the vice president of data and analytics products at PowerAdvocate. In this capacity, she leads the Spend Analytics, Supplier Enhancements, and Risk Analysis teams.
By driving data and analytics teams, Emily helps bring actionable intelligence to customers, enabling internal strategic analysis and decision-making. Prior to assuming her current role, Emily worked in other roles within the product organization.
She was senior director of Spend Analytics and director of Energy Intelligence, where she gave junior team members stretch assignments and helped them grow through guided mentorship. In her role as a product manager, she embedded with customers to help them creatively solve some of their most vexing challenges with PowerAdvocate tools.
Before joining PowerAdvocate, Emily worked in strategy consulting for the energy industry at Altman Vilandrie, in supply chain management at Novartis, and in various supply chain and engineering roles at Siemens.
Emily holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, an MS in industrial engineering from MIT, and a BS in chemical engineering from Bucknell University. She’s a Six Sigma Black Belt.
